Laundry is hand washing only – girls working at the Yacht Club will do it for you or for machine wash call Smart Clean on +677 75482 (ask prices as quite expensive)
Two small supermarkets, Wings and Friendship Market, are located across Mendana Ave from the Yacht Club. Wings has better selection and prices. Goods are limited, but prices are fair, about on par with Vanuatu. A broader selection of imported products is available at the Panatina Market – a taxi ride east of downtown.
Huge fresh produce market is a short walk east from the Yacht Club along Mendana Ave. All varieties of local foods are available at very cheap prices.
Duty-free liquor is available to all yachts (not just those clearing out) at Sullivan’s on the commercial wharf. Prices are excellent.
