Immigration Procedure:

There are no immigration controls between the UK and the Channel Islands. If you hold a British passport, you’re not required to carry it to visit the CIs. However, it is recommended to bring a photo ID such as a driving licence while other transport providers require you to carry your passport.

Anyone arriving in the island from outside the Common Travel Area will need to show a valid passport or identity card with visas.

Most visitors are granted up to six months stay.

Visa Requirements:

Channel Island visa requirements are the same as the UK visa requirements.

Schengen visas are not valid for the Channel Islands.

If you require a visa, it must be granted before you travel.

See Visa Passport Requirements for Jersey.

Incoming Crew and Guests:

Immigration must be notified of any persons leaving or joining vessels which are arriving from or departing to places other than the UK or other Channel Islands.
