It is also possible to anchor and take a long line ashore. The depths fall off quickly into the middle of the bay.

Parts of Gökova Bay are now closed off. Okluk Bay-Değirmen Bükü – English Harbour area – inside the Bay will be closed. During the past summer the Bay was closed a few times for a short time. But as of now, Okluk Bay-Değirmen Bükü area will be closed for sailing all the time.
