Sanlucar (River Guandiana) - Docking
Moorings:
There is space on the pontoon for approximately six boats but these spaces are frequently occupied by long-term liveaboards. If space can be found, payment of €7 /day should be made at the tourist information office in the town – if open! Water & power on the pontoon.
Anchoring:
Anchorage is possible in the river but the best holding is a couple of cables either upstream or downstream of Sanlucar rather than directly opposite the pontoon.
Facilities:
There is a restaurant/bar, a baker and a couple of provision stores which have some chandlery items. A small passenger ferry runs between Sanlucar and Alcoutim.

Do not confuse this Sanlucar with the much better known Sanlucar de Barrameda, at the mouth of the Guadalquivir river leading to Sevilla! Sanlucar de Barrameda is one of the three cities famous for its sherry.
