Rota - Activities, Attractions & Shopping
The town has retained evidence of its moorish and medieval past and is a typical white town
of the Andalusian region. There are several long, white, sandy beaches nearby.
The small church by the marina does not look anything from outside but venture inside and you will be amazed, gold everywhere reflecting the history of this ancient sea port and its importance during the Spanish conquests in the Americas.

Does anyone know if owners are allowed to do their own work on boats on the hard – for example bottom painting and / or changing a prop shaft, cutlass bearing?
I have heard that you are not allowed access to your boat in any Andalusian marinas when on hard standing.
Thanks

The Marina is still in good condition. Everything described above still applies. €55 for a 16m boat including water and electricity.
