Gandia - Docking
The harbour entrance is straightforward, however, keep a good lookout for large commercial ships manoeuvring off the jetties on the south and west side of the harbour, opposite the Marina entrance.
Yachts berth in the marina of the Real Club Nautico Gandia where the shelter is good. The marina entrance is quite narrow but easy to negotiate. Once inside the marina it is a little more restricted; the berths are on finger jetties, some with floating pontoon ‘tips’, going bows/stern to with laid moorings.
The long pontoon on the outside of the marina wall is officially for visiting yachts, although you may be directed elsewhere as this pontoon can be quite exposed to weather and swell. It’s best to call ahead and reserve a berth in advance. Some English is spoken.
There are Marineros on duty when the office is closed who are helpful but speak little English.

We visited here overnight 24/25 April 2016, on our way to Valencia.
Costs for our Lagoon 39 catamaran, including taxes, were 55 euros for the night, which was very expensive.
