Saint-Pierre - Boatyards

Thanks to the resident yachting community, there are repair facilities here.

The harbour has two big travel lifts and very good hard-standing areas on the breakwater. They do not, however, have any cradles or other systems to support the yachts, so these would have to be constructed, which should be possible with local help.

Supplies are very limited. There are no chandleries, however, essential spares can be flown in from France. Note however that this can take one week and must be picked up at St Denis in the northern part of Reunion.

    Data Entry3 says:

Phone # for Capitainerie above is misprinted. Corrected, it reads 0262-32-32-67 or 0262-32-32-65. Alternate email is thierry.kichena@saitpierre.re We were told to call the Capitainerie on VHF 16 or 09 before entering the channel, but had no luck on either. We made the entrance and docked at the concrete wall below the tower. Depth at the dock at low tide approx 2m. It gets deeper further west down the wall.
