The little taxis will take you to or bring you back from the big shopping mall in town where you will find a big supermarket called “Marjane”. Here you will find all the provisions you will need.

The local South is well worth a visit and a good place to buy fresh produce, meat and poultry, either alive or dead. You can pick your live chicken and the shopkeeper will prepare it for you on the spot.

Paid 197 Dirham per night for a 12m vessel. Stayed for 18 nights but the marina staff gave us the 1 month rate which was cheaper.

Clearing customs took some time as we had to drive with the police from the public marina to the passport control office in neighbouring ferry port, to get our passports stamped. The ferry terminal is about a 5 minute drive away.

Everyone here was very accommodating, the staff at the marina spoke excellent English. We felt very secure keeping our boat here for the two weeks we traveled inland. Still no wifi. NOTE during our stay we were told we could not get fuel from the adjacent fishing dock. However the staff was very helpful in organizing a truck to bring us 175 liters of deisel from town. I would recommend anyone stay here. There is lovely land scapes and it is a quick entry port if traveling from elsewhere in the med

The marina charges are 228 Dhuram for 13m yacht. Ablution block still to be build, but reasonable shower and toilet in Marina office building.
Town has little to offer after a long walk uphill. Convenient stop over, though

New habour with full facilities to yachts e.g. water and electricity on the pontoons. Except for showers and toilets, wich will be in operation at the end of 2017. Pontoons with fingers. Formalities are easy and efficient, all officials come to the boat. Sniffing dog will visit your boat. All very friendly. Great port from wich you can explore the Rif mountains by local bus. Trip to Chefcaouen is a must! Takes 6 hours scenic ride by bus from busstation. For 13 mtr boat we paid aprox. 230 DRH a night, all included. No Wifi yet. Very safe and well guarded harbour.
