This place has improved greatly over the last few years. Their Customer Service even to us so-called small yachties is great. Javier and all the crew there are all about customer service and helping you out. The new cruisers’ lounge upstairs is all new and ready to go. For your internet, folks’ internet here is amazingly reliable and fast.

Docks are clean and docks carts are in wonderful condition. If you need a rental car just ask one of the ladies in the office and they will make the call for delivery. The mooring field is in excellent condition if you grab one make sure you grab one with a yellow float they have been inspected. it would be nice for more mooring balls though.

Plans are to expand the dock and slips to accommodate more and hopefully not just the superyachts. Haul out service I did not use but have heard good things as well as the yard. In this yard, you are not allowed to work on the outside of the boat so you do have to hire out for bottom work and such through the yard.

All services that you need are basically here from the improved market, restaurant and new coffee shop. Water on the docks is potable and drinkable. If you are out in the mooring field you can make arrangements with the office to get dock time to fill up with water, fuel and to wash your boat.

Whenever we are in this area will normally stop by for a few days. Loreto is about a 20-minute drive to get all your food supplies and other items you may need. highly way is mainly all new and smooth.

I will be back that is for sure. Until then C-YA

    Data Entry1 says:

The small harbour just outside of the entrance to Marina Puerto Escondido is now off limits to anchoring and mooring (as of March 3, 2018.) API, the local port authority, directed that all vessels had to vacate the anchorage, known locally as “The Waiting Room,” and were given only a couple of days to comply. It is not known at this time what the plans are for The Waiting Room, however, vessels are being accommodated in the “Inner Harbor” anchorage area that is part of Marina Puerto Escondido. There are as many as forty vessels, many long-term liveaboards that are currently affected. It is assumed that transient vessels will also be banned from The Waiting Room.
