Puerto de Navidad- Marina is overall in good condition and access to the resort is a big plus. The dock water is un-chlorinated and truly not potable, so don’t put it in your tank, even after filtration. One of the ladies from the water taxi desk in Barra will arrange delivery of garrafons (jugs) to your boat. There are only 3 pairs of showers with one not working on a recent visit and another not having hot water. The resort restaurants and bar are quite expensive and mostly not worth the price. The pool restaurant and bar, and Antonio’s with good tequila bar are the best choices. Water taxi is now 30P round trip.
Marina Las Hadas – Now costs P250, Water is not potable, women’s shower closed, cannot use the pool or other hotel facilities, harbour master cannot do check in or check out, the docks are in poor repair, and the security guards are aggressive. Not especially welcoming
place.
Marina Las Hadas – If you are anchored out the dingy dock rates are 200 pesos per day. You can press them for seven days by paying for five days in advance. They will take credit cards.
