Latvia - Clearance
Notice April 2022: Russian flagged or registered yachts are not permitted to enter any ports in Latvia. See news item for details.
ARRIVAL FORMALITIES
If you are entering from outside the EU, or are a non-EU yacht, then Clearance formalities will need to be completed. The normal procedure is to report to the marina office and they report further as required. Immigration officials will probably want to see passports and a crew list, and Customs official may come on board for an inspection.
Riga has adequate facilities for yachts, but Roja is a more convenient stop and has good facilities.
