Livorno - Docking
The principal berthing for yachts is in the Porto Mediceo in the heart of the town.
There is an anchorage NE of the southern breakwater, off Porticolo Nazano Saura in about two – three meters. Suitable only in settled weather. The marina of Darsena Toscana is also here, but it is not known if they accept visitors.
A quieter alternative is the modern marina at Rosignana, south of Livorno.
If planning to visit Pisa, then the marina 16 kms (10 miles) north of Livorno is a convenient berth being just eight kms (five miles) from the city.
