The bay on the north side is safe enough, but neither harbour is much good if there is a strong northerly. Best bakery “Drougas” in the Saronic at the head of the pier on the north side.

Maria’s good for eating out. Good butcher and plenty of shopping generally. Nightmarish if “The Yacht Week” is in town.

Ermioni is a popular spot for cruisers and charterers with the harbour full almost every day during the season. In the middle of June boats were rafting-on on the east side of the quay, the inside of the harbour is taken up by local fishing boats with room for only 10 to 12 smaller yachts.

The bay on the north side of the peninsula was also crowded with yachts at anchor. In easterlies, even of medium strength the swell will make mooring on the outside or anchoring dangerous. Ferry movement causes swell, stay well clear of the quay.

Water and power available from a few distribution points, cards can be purchased from kiosks close to the harbour. Water is 3 euro for 1000 liters (minimum) and power 1 euro per KWhr. Mooring spots can also be found on the south side of the town/peninsula, no water or power.

Anchoring in Kapari bay a good option expect in Easterlies or North Easterlies The town has many restaurants, bars and coffee shops, with free wifi, good shopping for provisions, ATM’s, car rental etc, ferry service to Hydra and Pireaus
