Tallinn - Docking
There are two good marinas here, located close to the city centre
The Old City Marina is about 10 minutes’ walk from the City’s historic “Old Town”. Entry to this marina is through the port, heavy with cruise ship and passenger ferry traffic. Before reaching the outer breakwater of the harbour, yachts should call the Old City Harbor Port Control on VHF Channel 14 for permission to enter. Small craft may enter the Port Basin and depart the navigation channel only during the green traffic light. See comments about this marina at the bottom of the page.
One mile west of the Old City Marina is Port Noblessner which has the added advantage of a boatyard with shore storage.
Pirita ( five kms from Tallinn Old City) offers two marinas for berthing and clearance is possible here.
The other harbours in the Gulf of Tallinn (Rohuneeme Harbor, Miiduranna Harbor, Vanasadam, Patareisadam, Kalasadam, Lennusadam, Peetri Harbor, Miinisadam, Hundipea Harbor, Paljassaare Harbor, Katariina quay) do not serve pleasure craft.

Btw if you reserve a berth at the Old City Marina they charge an extra fee equivalent to one day on the berth. I was charged 55 Euros for my 45 footer plus another 55 Euros for booking it. Pretty expensive. Suggest not booking, just turning up. Go to one of the other cheaper marinas if full.
