All the authorities are based at the marina.

Yachts must call “Larnaca Marina” on VHF Ch16; the working channel is 8.

The crew must remain on board until the clearance is granted. Clearance is completed with the Marine Police, Customs and Immigration and, sometimes, the Health Inspector.

If arriving after 14:00 hrs or at the weekend, you may be charged an overtime fee.

Haul out is charged by the square meter (length (LOA) x max. beam). The price is 6 euro per square meter lifting and same price launching.
If people have an extended stay in mind then hauling out is maybe a good option as it avoids berthing problems.

It is a wonderful marina with plenty of room and Larnaca is a lovely town. The price for hardstanding or in the water is the same. A 10m. yacht pays 220 euro per month and 15 euro’s for power per month.
The public bus system is subsidized by the government and really cheap. Buses are on time and have timetables. Intercity buses are always 4 euros single or 7 euros return. Local town buses are 1.50 euros single. Those prices are the same all over the island as there is only one bus company.

As of today (summer 2015) outer harbour is no longer in use.
Inner harbour renovation completed, pontoon with mooring lines all around, water & electricity.
It is still a low cost and friendly mooring place.
