Bol. The port appears to be entirely taken up with day trip boats running tourists to the nearby beaches. There are a few, new looking, stern to moorings, laid lines on stone quays between the harbour and fuel berth, and a temptingly open stone quay to the east of the port. The afternoon westerlies make that a daunting proposition.
There are about 6 mooring buoys to the south of the harbour which appear relatively new and are used by the day trip boats when not loading or discharging in the port. Relatively inexpensive but with the chop the afternoon winds work up getting ashore in a tender can be a moist experience.
A useful overnight stop in calm weather.
We called into Povlja on Brac, but there were no other boats there. No laid lines, not sure how deep it is along side, so we motored out across to U. LUKA. There is a restaurant and lots of moorings in this pretty spot.
