Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.

We are currently In Black Point Settlement and met with Lorraine today. Lorraine from Lorraine’s Cafe is planning lots of exciting things not only for the 15th, but through the weekend! Lorraine said that the island will blow our minds during the get together, so if you’re down in the Exumas join the fun.
She had a couple requests. She’s asked for school supplies for the kids (they will be involved in the fun), some volleyballs, and she needs a new SSCA flag. Hers was battered beyond recognition. So if you’re still in the States and can pick up any of the above items she would really appreciate it.
She cooked up an incredible buffet today. Her mom is still baking fresh bread every day. We got cinnamon raisin today!!
