US Virgin Islands, Nazareth Bay: Locked Dinghy Stolen from on the Beach
Cruisers who left their dinghy locked on the beach at Secret Harbour Beach, Nazareth Bay in the US Virgin Islands found it was missing when they returned a few days later.

Cruisers locked their AB dinghy upside down to a tree on the beach for bottom cleaning, and found it had been stolen when they returned a few days later. The thieves came prepared with tools to cut the robust lock/cable and a vehicle to remove the dinghy. Video surveillance from the resort was provided to the police.
