DETAILS:
A yacht was burgled between June 15-August 20, 2019 while stored on the hard at Ottley Hall. The thieves cut locks and ransacked/searched the boat.
They stole exterior and stored solar panels, tools, VHF radio, a computer and iPad, foul weather gear, Traktor Kontrol ( disc jockey equipment) and other misc. items. They replaced the companionway door to conceal the theft.
The theft was discovered when the owner had a friend send exterior photos of the boat, and noticing an open hatch and missing deck solar panel asked the yard to investigate. The yard admitted other boats had been similarly affected.
A new management team was in place in November when the owner returned to the yacht.
