This incident was on our boat, the catamaran UMNYAMA. It happened on May 1 at 04:30. We woke up by a noise and a plunge. Wet feet prints on the saloon floor. Stolen items from a monohull next door on our sugar scoop (a monocular, some euro coins and two sunglasses). With our strong torch we could not see a swimmer or a boat near or under us, although we were very quick to react. We missed two iPhones and one iPad. The boat was not locked…
A police report was made. Theft in Marigot bay seems to be pretty common. See discussion on Facebook.
The iPad was traced ashore near the “getto” in Marigot, but police could not find it.
Hello, about the same story for us 2 nights ago. It was 3.30 am . Fortunately our door was closed. I wake-up quickly and ears a plunge. We called the police and they have sent a patrol. They catched a girl coming out the water by the marina. So Wu made a complaint at the police station. Many complaint had been reported about rubbery at night. The tiethf is a well known girl at Marigot. An association for victims is trying to help us, is anyone want to joint us, please call or write me on WhatsApp on +590690293925, my name is Pat on catamaran Tika
