Panama, Linton Bay: Burglary from Yacht on Private Mooring
A yacht which was on a private mooring off a marina was burgled between July 3 and 5 and numerous items were stolen.

A yacht on a private mooring off the marina was burgled between July 3-5, when the minder was absent from an adjacent mooring for a few days. The thief came prepared with tools and made no attempt to conceal the damage done breaking into the well locked yacht. The stolen items include a 15HP Yamaha outboard, a generator, binoculars, electronics (personal and chart plotter), a drone, tools and other items. Preliminary reports were made to the Linton Bay Marina, coast guard and police (Aeronaval). The owner was to file a formal report on his return to Panama on July 12.
