Martinique (France): Another Dinghy Theft at Le Marin
A dinghy was stolen from Le Marin in Martinique, despite being cable locked to the Leader Price dock by the cruiser who had gone ashore for a short time.

DETAILS: A cruiser cable locked their dinghy to the Leader price dock at 1400HRS, and found it had been stolen when they returned 30 minutes later. The Coast Guard (CrossAg), Marine police and the marina were notified. Officials suggested a police report be made, and did not assist in a search. The victim and friends searched ashore in the area between Mango Bay and the fisherman’s harbor and found the stolen dinghy/outboard there, about 500 meters from the dock.
