DETAILS: Between Midnight and 5:30am, the 9.9HP 4 stroke outboard motor was stolen from a dinghy which was tied to a near shore mooring in the mooring field. The outboard was bolted to the transom, the thieves came prepared with tools to remove it. No damage was done, and the fuel tank was not taken. A report was made to the police and the marina. The owners learned a similar theft had occurred to a local fisherman in the last few months, but no details were available.
