The webinar is being held on April 20 at 07:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada) and the topic is Best Practices: Charts, Electronic Charts, Guides.
NOAA Updates
The webinar will include a NOAA update on NOAA’s Office of Coastal Survey chart progress, as well as an informative session on the MBtile/electronic charts and guides created for use by world wide cruisers. This webinar includes a guest (Kyle Ward/NOAA) to provide NOAA directions for marine charts, and what to expect in future.
Open Source Charts
From Dave And Sherry McCampbell, learn about the open source chart efforts for many areas of the Pacific and Caribbean. Dave and Sherry will cover the satellite imagery for electronic charts and routes/guides created for areas of the world needing charting updates, where the files reside, how to use them and more.
