Recognised as the home of Ferro-cement boat construction in Ireland, our members have built some 30+ “concrete” boats since one of our members took the plunge around 1971 and built (with the help of his wife) a 40ft. motorsailer. Many more followed in rapid succession and some have even been own designs. Frequent visitors from around the world call in to see the methods used. Facilities include Toilets, Parking, Catering. for People With Disabilities
